What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. This page explains how the Validator Service uses cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies (session)
The tenant portal and admin interface require a session cookie to maintain your authenticated session. It is set only when you log in, ends when you sign out, and expires on its own after 24 hours in the portal and 12 hours in the admin interface. Without it, the portal and admin cannot function.
We also set a standard anti-CSRF token cookie to protect form submissions. This is an essential security cookie.
Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not use any marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. No third-party advertising networks, remarketing pixels, or behavioral profiling tools place cookies via this site.
Our public pages use a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool that counts page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data in your browser, and does not track you across other websites.
Browser storage
Two values live in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies: a random device identifier that the free demo uses to enforce its free-check limit (sent to us only with demo requests), and your light or dark theme preference. Neither is shared with third parties or used for tracking.
No cookie consent banner
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies (session authentication and CSRF protection), the browser storage above serves only the feature you are using, and our analytics are cookieless and anonymous, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If our cookie use changes to include non-essential cookies, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be introduced where required by applicable law.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential session cookies will prevent you from logging in to the portal or admin interface.
